  • I am diagnosed with Parkinson’s at 46, very rare to hit this early. My neurologist recommended Levodopa as my only resort and await stem cell therapy progress. I was told that at least with Levodopa, I will not be in a wheelchair until I'm 60. But the symptoms started being more and more visible.

In my initial discussions with Apoe team, I had not even shared about this diagnosis and was seeking help to manage my other risks - heart disease. I saw the team handled things differently here. They do a deep dive on each patient and they don’t leave anything unexplained. They discovered it and I then shared details. Every consultation has been like a masterclass in medical science. No unrealistic expectations were set or reversal or magic. We are trying to arrest and slow down the progression of my disease to the maximum possible.

This is the true level of personalized medication as my protocols are designed by looking at my raw genetic data. A bunch of tests were also done to test the pathways blocked by oxidative stress. I knew what each protocol like in nutritional intervention, supplement, exercise was designed to do but my body responded to some and didn’t to others. I learnt this is the nature of treatment for diseases where there are no pills to pop for cure.

Same medical knowledge but used from first principles and being delivered in the finest way possible.

  • I was a fairly healthy individual who started noticing mild chest pains that came and went. I got a bit worried about and got an ECG and Echo test done based on my doctor’s recommendation. Everything was normal, but something kept nagging me and I wanted to make sure nothing was getting missed. That’s when a friend told me about APOE I got interested in their “whole body testing” approach before making a diagnosis and starting a treatment. They ran genetic tests and found I had a high risk for cardiovascular disease. On top of that, my Lp(a) levels were elevated, a dangerous lipoprotein linked to sudden heart attacks. APOE medical team made me understand the connection between metabolic health, lipid profiles, heart disease and strokes. Using this overall view, they drafted a protocol for me that could help solve my immediate problem of chest pains while also addressing my long-term health risks. - Apoe Member, 46 year old male (Hyderabad, India)

  • I got very curious listening to the way Apoe team explained about medical science. They explained the basics, the mechanisms - sort of the same stuff I used to hear in my prior consultations except that it made much more sense, more detailed, more advanced, completely related to me and my health issues.

I have 70% blockage in my LCX artery and I had no clue how to handle it. I had no symptoms and the only suggestion I was getting was putting a stent and continuing taking cholesterol medications. These medications never suited me as I figured out the hard way that they had the side effect of making me pre-diabetic even though I had no insulin resistance. These medications are better suited to take as temp solutions to bring down values and not for long term use.

I learnt all of the above from the Apoe team. My medical awareness was just nodding to what the doctors used to say in my consultations before. Never questioned or challenged, as I didn’t know even the basics, but also never got any clarity.

I got the clarity at Apoe why the blockage happened - a bit of my genetic predisposition but mostly my wrong lifestyle choices as I didn’t know any better. I understood about my other risk factors too of diabetes, cancer and neuro diseases. The discussions were done in depth and awareness was done at the pace and language I could take.

I understand how each protocol is designed to help what part. I am working with my local doctor in weaning off my meds, my cholesterol markers are almost stable, pretty confident that the blockage would also reduce in my next scan due in 3 months.

In 9 months, I have learnt so much, I feel so much better, I feel so grateful to have been exposed to this style of healthcare. - 59 YO
